When Wendy’s comes a knockin’

Where’s the beef? Florissant comes a Rockin’ according to this Belleville News Democrat article that also fills us in on the next lucky municipality, Swansea, IL.

Wendy’s plans to reopen its Swansea location, 2638 N. Illinois St., on Sept. 27.

A general manager said staff should be ready to reopen the restaurant, which closed a year ago along with 50 other Wendy’s restaurants throughout the St. Louis metro area when owner WenAmerica LLC of Chesterfield, Mo., went bankrupt. About 1,000 employees lost their jobs. Wendy’s corporate offices, Wendy’s International in Dublin, Ohio, recently reopened another former WenAmerica location in Florissant, Mo., and almost set a record for an opening day at Wendy’s.

Bring is Swansea!  Bring it!
