It can’t be a good thing when the best piece of food on your plate is the canned cranberry sauce, but that’s exactly what happened last week when they had a Thanksgiving luncheon at my job.
The turkey, which flaked apart like shatterproof glass when you tried to pick it up, tasted almost exactly like canned tuna fish. Seriously! How could I make that up?
It kind of makes you wonder who actually eats stuff like this for Thanksgiving, and it leaves me feeling especially thankful for what I have and the fact that I am fortunate enough not too.
With the countdown winding down for #1 food loving holiday, hopefully you all have your games faces on. I know I’ve been getting my stomach stretched and primed for the gorging ahead.
